Sunday School - 10:30 a.m.
Children's Sunday School is off for the summer. Rally Day 2013 is Sunday, September 8. A new Sunday School year will commence on Sunday, September 15.

Dorcas Circle meets on the third Monday of each month (September through May) at 1:00 p.m. for Bible Study and fellowship. The theme of this year’s new study (beginning in September) is "Gathered by God". It is a word study on gather, and will cover session topics such as: gather to learn, gather for fellowship, gather for support, gather to be empowered, and gather to be sent. The study will look at all the ways God calls us to gather. This study taken from the Gather (formerly Lutheran Woman Today) magazine. A copy of this magazine is available in the church library. They will not meet during the summer, but will return to meet on Monday, September 16.

WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP

Women’s Dinner Out – meet at a local restaurant for food and fellowship.

Dorcas Circle meets the third Monday of the month (Sept-May) at 1 pm in Fellowship Hall for fellowship and bible study. Next meeting is Monday, September 16.

Quilters meet the third Friday in the parish house quilting room for fellowship and quilting. Completed quilt projects are donated to charities.

FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Prime Timers is a monthly fellowship group for those over 55 years old. They meet the second Tuesday of the month for food and conversation. They will meet for lunch on Tuesday, May 14, at noon at The Great Wall China Buffet, 3215 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Please call Tricia Sanders for reservations.

Theater and Theology

The 2012-2013 season has ended. Check here in the Fall for a new season.

Tickets to the performances of the Denver Center Theater Company are made available to congregations and individuals through an agreement with the Rocky Mountain Synod and the DCPA at a reduced group price of $33 each. In addition to the production, following each performance, cast members are engaged in a moderated talkback on theological issues of the play. Performances are held on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. throughout the 10-month theatrical season. For more information about the individual plays, click on this link to visit the DCPA website.

Make checks payable to "Rocky Mountain Synod", marked for Theater and Theology and give to Pat Sandstedt on Sunday mornings or Lynette in the church office.
